Skaia, otherwise known at The Battlefield, is classified as a dimension in Minecraft, though its physical location is in the heart of the Incipisphere. Skaia can only be accessed via a Skaia Portal, which does not occur naturally and cannot be obtained outside of Creative Mode.
Each chunk in Skaia is composed entirely of either black chess tiles or white chess tiles, being the opposite color of each of its neighbors. The Armies of Light and Darkness appear only in this dimension, spawning as the only mobs on The Battlefield.
The physical terrain of Skaia can be mined with a bare hand, and has no known uses in crafting or alchemy.
