Consorts are your docile amphibian* amigos who populate your land. Although they mostly spawn in villages throughout your world, you may find the occasional wanderer. They can be spoken to with a simple right click; some may even have special interactions! There are four different consorts in Minestuck:
- Iguanas
- Salamanders
- Turtles
- Nakagators
Which consort type you have depends on your terrain land aspect. The consorts which match with which terrain are shown below:

Consort Shops[]
Consorts can also run shops, allowing you to spend your hard-earned boondollars on their wares. Shops can be found in consort villages throughout your land. They are very committed to their job, remaining at their post at all times. To open up a shop, simply right click on the shopkeeper and click on the items you wish to buy. Some items(that have no alchemy combination) are obtainable almost exclusively through consort shops. Shops are also a good source of food, grist candy(a way to obtain valuable grist types like zillium), and basic alchemy ingredients you haven't been able to find or alchemize.
A twin pair of turtle shopkeepers offer to you their tantalizing wares. Do you dare accept their bargains, or do you refuse their deals? It is up to you to decide your destiny.
